In May, Abra left us wanting more when she dropped off the interlude-length cut "Come 4 Me," a thumping minimalistic record, that, despite being just over a minute in length, was served up with some eye-catching visuals. The Dark Wave Duchess aka the First Lady of Awful Records is back this month with the release of a new song, this time at a more-than-appropriate run time of five minutes.
"CRYBABY" has hollow '80s vibes on the production tip, with Abra's vocals washing over the nostalgic beat. Like much of what Abra does, this is an easily dance-able record with touches of electronic. This single, along with the ultra sleek "Come 4 Me," will appear on Abra's new EP Princess, due out on July 15th.
Quotable Lyrics
Do you remember when we first kissed?
How did it get this far
To a place like this
Oh why are you so cold to me
Why you actin like we ain't nothing
