CB Flair (Real name Corey Emmanuel Benson) is a rising rapper out of Atlanta. After releasing his 2013 mixtape, Westside, CB quit music to focus on clothing, but three years later, he's made his return to songwriting, sharing his new track, "Bankroll," which fits squarely into the current scene in the region. Subtle melodies line up with chiming synths on the single, dialing up the melancholy on the otherwise braggy track. Tasteful ad-libs and backing vocals beef up the hook, as he pays tribute to Bankroll Fresh and does his best to carve out his own lane within the vibrant ATL scene. Does he have potential? Let us know in the comments below.
Quotable Lyrics:
I was trying to get these stacks on stacks
Racks on racks like YC back
My momma tell me I don't know how to act
I tell her I ain't ever gonna change for the cash
Bankroll
