Luna x Shea Butter Mami

Matt McGhee is a rising rapper out of Maryland, and his new two-part track, "Luna x Shea Butter Mami," supplies a pretty comprehensive introduction into what he's all about. Produced by Jaylen and mixed and mastered by Matt himself, "Luna" starts things off with a crisp bass groove and some peripheral trumpets, as Matt finds the pocket of it all and locks into some double time flows. Halfway through, things get a bit funkier as "Shea Butter Mami" introduces a bounce that's half Neptunes half Super Mario, as Matt loosens up his vocals, introducing some subtle melodies, vocoder harmonies and a keen songwriting sense.
