Willow Smith and her brother Jaden have been tweeting about Michael Cera lately, but it wasn't clear whether they were hinting at something or just felt inspired by recent a Youth in Revolt viewing. Today, Willow has shared a musical collaboration with Cera, which finds the actor, who has performed in the Nick Thorburn-fronted band Mr. Heavenly, played bass for his role in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, and released his own recordings on Bandcamp, sitting in on production.
Willow delivers some psychedelic spoken word on the hypnotic record, which fades away before the 2-minute mark, which makes it seem very possible the collab came together AFTER the tweets. Still, we're hoping this leads to more music from Cera and the Smith siblings. Maybe he can even help Jaden finish his album?
