Despite the fact that he just dropped Mudface six months ago, Redman fans are still wondering about the whereabouts of Muddy Waters 2. It looks like they'll have to wait a little longer, as Redman is partnering up with DJ/producer Jayceeoh for a new duo called 1000volts. They've been recording in the studio since last summer. Earlier this week they shared a new single called "I'm Gone."
Smooth, upbeat, and ethereal, the "I'm Gone" beat sounds like it belongs on the new Bankroll Mafia album. We're less accustoming to seeing Reggie rap over these types of beats, but he slaughters it regardless, as does guest star Trae tha Truth.
