This past week, De La Soul celebrated the 25-year anniversary of their sophomore album De La Soul Is Dead, and what better way to celebrate than with a never-before-heard record right? Digging into the vaults, the legendary group decided to share this unreleased song that was recorded back during the album’s studio sessions in 1991 called “Sho Nuff.”
While it may not have made the album’s final cut, this Posdnous-produced record is exactly in line with what made the group great. Hit play and relive some 25-year old De La Soul on this Sunday evening.

Quotable Lyrics:
My dialect is new, Im young, native or tongue
I don’t respect out bustin’ caps
Yo I don’t brag or boast Im darker than your coast
I’m pure African-centric with naps
