Lil West first caught our attention with Indigo, his full-length collaboration with ElijahWiley (then going by Nodachi), which paired, dark, immersive textures with West's glossy auto-tuned melodies and throaty bellows. The two have reunited on "2BADHOES," the first taste of Indigo 2, released in celebration of West's 18th birthday.
The track picks up where the first installment left off, but everything feels tighter, as the Delaware rapper's double-tracked vocals and echoing ad-libs meld seamlessly with Elijah's mesmerizing synths and pounding sub-bass. It's a chemistry comes with continued creative collaboration, and one that should further cement itself with the arrival of Indigo 2 on May 20th. Listen to the first tape here.
Quotable Lyrics:
I was with my bitch in New York City
Had to do that show
I was pouring up lean
Only 1-2-3, 'cause I don't smoke
