Young Philly rapper Zero shares the second single, "Showed Up," off his upcoming album, "Your Forever."

Zero's debut track on HNHH was a collab with Tory Lanez and his most recent one, last month's "Exposition," was produced by Lanez' go-to producer in Play Picasso. He's been fortunate with his collaborators, but his aggressive style and lyrical talent have also made him one to watch out for, especially considering he's only 18.

Tonight, Zero has come through with a new track, "Showed Up," featuring a soft but immersive electronic instrumental from Philly producer Andrew Meoray. Zero begins "Showed Up" with the hook, on which he sings about a romance that went astray. He delves deeper into the pain during his verses, though the track certainly shows a new side of Zero's artistry. Of course, we're just getting familiarized. Luckily, his upcoming (free) album, Your Forever, is out this Wednesday, May 11.

Quotable Lyrics

I took the easy way and I left it right where I found it
My mama always told me be cautious of your surroundings
I learned my fuckin' lesson no matter how long it felt
They're not around for you no matter who fuckin' tells
