Joey Purp comes with insane energy on "Photobooth."

Joey Purp impresses yet again with his new track "Photobooth." His debut album, iiiDrops, has the potential to be one of the year's most inspired and innovative projects.

Like "Cornerstone," Joey's recent collab with Saba and TheMIND, "Photobooth" is filled with raging lyrical bursts, though the content is a bit lighter this time, focusing on photo-thots, those who will get down and dirty for a photo op. The sparse production -- a horn line that sounds like an elephant gone mad -- is abrasive at first, but it quickly matches the raw energy relayed by Purp's non-stop raps.

The song is spontaneous in such a way that the listener feels right there as it's being recorded. Hopefully Joey supplies even more thrills on iiiDrops, which should be out any day now.

Quotable Lyrics

I took a zanny, got me woozy on the plane man
I'm tryna fuck the stewardess before the plane land
Indian head, polo swag on rain dance
She got my number and my Instagram name 'cuz
She ain't really bad, she a photo thot
