Losiing

Yong Star hails from East Saint Louis, Illinois, and while his career is still budding, his new track, "Losiing," sounds rather assured. Built off of a sentimental harpsichord progression, Star breaks through with some powerful, personal verses, recalling the personality-driven verses of Kevin Gates. Meanwhile, the hook, is a delicately sung, chopped-and-screwed vocal, bringing a complimentary mood to the emotional number. It's all over too soon, but even in its short length, it gives us a good idea of who Star is, and we're excited to see what his next moves will be.
