Mila J has dropped a song called "TBH," her first since February's "Me & You." The song starts with a Middle Eastern-sounding sample that ends up sneaking behind hard-hitting drums and bass, making for a Timbaland-inspired sound that's rare in today's R&B landscape.
"It's you that my body is calling," Mila confidently sings on the hook. The rest of the track finds Mila singing in a free-flowing manner about being honest with her bodily intuitions and acting on them like grown folks should.
There's no word yet if "TBH' is just a freebie or if it's slated for an upcoming project. In the meantime, revisit Mila's most recent project, December's Covergirl mixtape.
Quotable Lyrics
To be honest
Got to thinkin' and I paused like a comma
Set the mood, feelin' right, we alone
Why we playin' games n*gga, we grown
