Kevin Abstract collaborated with Allan Kingdom back in February for Allan's cut "The Potion," and now it appears Allan is repaying the favor with a feature on Kevin's latest release "Slit My Wrist." It's a record that would probably be right at home on our new "LSD: Psych-Rap Songs To Trip To," given it's cloudy, experimental nature.
The song title itself is quite dark, as is the intro of the song, but things feel a bit lighter with Allan's verse-- before darkening again on the hook. Despite a rather pessimistic title, the theme of the song is actually positive-- don't give up, even if haters are egging you on. Shrug it off. Are you feeling the collaboration? The two have already shot a music video for it, so stay tuned.
Quotable Lyrics
I'ma represent for my brethren
And my rebels in cold
Froze weatherin' goose featherin'
Snow still gettin' dough
