Curtis Williams is a busy man these days. He's got an album on the way called Godspeed. But before he drops that he'll deliver a mixtape by the name of Danco SZN. Yesterday the Two-9 rapper/producer shared a new track from the tape, an ode to self called "Danco."
Produced by Millz Douglas and YG Beat, "Danco" features the sort of swung rhythm more in common in the music of Duke Ellington than the stuff you hear coming out of the Atlanta trap these days. The beat bangs regardless.
Hopefully Williams and OG Maco didn't abandon that OG Danco mixtape with Cookin Soul... "Holeman & Finch" was lowkey one of the most slept-on jams of 2015.
