Atlanta rapper/producer Russ has delivered a strong showing these last couple weeks with "Yung God" and "Lost." This week's Russ track is "Manifest."
The self-produced track makes good use of a reversed sample that evokes the South Beach sunshine in which he basks with his mother. For Russ, who's gameplan is basically to release songs every week until he blows up, it's a rare amount of peace amidst his warrior-like laser focus... And yet, even when he's chilling with his mother, he's plotting the next move. "Moving to the rhythm of my intuition/ Anything I want I speak into existence."
