Earlier this week, 50 Cent shared a radio rip of the new remix to his Sonny Digital-produced single "I'm the Man," which appeared on December's The Kanan Tape. The new remix includes a new hook from Chris Brown, replacing the background interlude that was sung by Sonny D. on the original. There's also a full verse from Breezy, who's outpouring of emotion contrasts nicely to Fif's somber, monotone raps.
Those who caught the radio rip will be glad to hear the remix in its uncensored and newly mastered quality. "I'm the Man" has got to be 50's strongest track in a long time -- certainly his most stirring. And the atmospheric production is absolutely breathtaking. The original was a good look for 50, though the addition of Chris Brown to the remix should give the track significantly more radio play for the next few months.
Quotable Lyrics
But you love playin' games with the corny shit
Messin' with a n*gga, I only bought it cause I want it
You love to see a n*gga on the bottom
You tried to come up, you don't keep it on the low
You like a drug, don't like you to call them hoes
I'm tryna break that booty down like 36 O's
