Chicago rapper Spenzo has dropped a new single with Tory Lanez, "I Want You." The track is produced by one of Chicago's finest, C-Sick, who has recently been developing an intriguing partnership with Lanez, producing the final track on December's The New Toronto mixtape as well as the recent Fargo Fridays cut "Tim Duncan."
C-Sick uses his signature mix of airy vocal samples and crisp, rolling 808s to give "I Want You" an immersive late-night backdrop. The track kicks off with the hook, on which Lanez lays down some slurred, meandering vocals, and Spenzo then comes in with a hard verse to raise the intensity before the seductive duties are handed back to Lanez. The entire mix flows seamlessly, and it's a fine effort from everyone involved.
