Tomorrow, March 25, Elzhi releases Lead Poison, his first album in five years.
Thus far he's teased the album with three pretty awesome tracks -- "February", "Two 16s", & "coSIGN". Before he unleashes the album upon the unknowing public (you already know it's gonna be criminally slept-on.), the Detroit veteran shares one last song with the people: "INTROverted".
A slick guitar n bass line provides the backbone for "INTROverted", in which Elzhi raps in depth about his past troubles, the demons that still haunt him, and his hard work to get where he stands today.
Few emcees these days can touch Elzhi's lyrical dexterity. Brace yourselves... Lead Poison is coming.
Quotable Lyrics
My life’s a cinema, I’m just now exposing reels
But why would they want me to blow? They know an explosion kills
What’s behind enemy lines, they get plenty rewinds
There finna be times, infinite infinity signs
