More Throwback Thursday tracks from Tim Westwood, and this week he’s joining the rest of the hip hop community in celebrating the late Phife Dawg’s legacy. He reaches back to 1999 for this unreleased freestyle of Phife Dawg.
The 5 Foot Assassin is joined by Wildchild and Madlib, so you know they all came correct on the mic. Phife gets the first and last verses, absolutely ripping them, while Wildchild and Madlib get the second and third verses respectively. No offense to the other two, but Phife Dawg shows them up during this session.
