After a long drought that stretched back to September, Grey Sweatpants blessed us with the new cut "Eastern Conference Player Of The Week" last Sunday. Looking like he's starting a new weekly trend, the dude's back today with one called "Generation Sick" that was produced by TyDy Beats.
The song, which sonically resembles lots of the lean-influenced trap coming out of the South, has a deeper message which Chachi Pajamas explained on Soundcloud:
"I feel my generation of young niggas are plagued with a sickness right now with this whole wave of prescription drug popularity and temptation nahmean. Niggas really poppin multiple pills and drinking cough syrup on the daily, they sick b ! So i figured id kinda poke fun at all these songs out here that glorify their use from the angle of everyone else who ironically only pop pills & drink syrup when actually sick. So yea, that was the thought process behind that song"
Let us know what you think.
