Jacquees, one of the hottest young acts in R&B, has released his first new music since January's Mood mixtape. His new track, "Body Right/In a Minute," is an intensely sensual slow jam, further evidence that Jacquees is one of the few up-and-comers that is generating buzz with a respect for classic R&B rather than the genre's club-leaning new wave.
"I'm gonna make you remember / I'm 'bout to take the Jeep doors off in the winter," sings Jacquees. His lyrics are clean and concise but not too polished, relaying a sense of spontaneity that makes the song all the more sexy. It's unclear if "Body Right/In a Minute" will appear on Jacquees' next project, but it's a strong indication of what the Rich Gang singer has in store for the remainder of 2016.
