Queens rapper Meyhem Lauren has dropped a new single off his upcoming album, Piatto D'Oro, on Fool's Gold Records. The track, "Sauce," is a chilled, cinematic piece of New York rap and it features Lauren's brother, who raps as Hologram.
"Sauce" follows the singles "Money in My Pocket," released with a Bad Santa-style video, and the Harry Fraud-produced "Bonus Round," featuring an elite group of Lauren's frequent collaborators -- Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, and Big Body Bes. Both of those tracks dropped in December.
Piatto D'Oro, which will be a free project, still doesn't have a release date, though the new single signals its imminent arrival. Have a taste of Lauren's Queens-certified "Sauce," and catch him on Bronson's new cable TV show, "Fuck That's Delicious," which airs on VICELAND tonight at 10pm EST.
Quotable Lyrics
Gorilla mindstate, a little more civil
Dirty in the whip, see police, then I wiggle
Swerve supreme with herb to steam
Light your bitch up, then I serve the queen
