Last week, Pro Era’s Joey Bada$$ released a Statik Selektah-produced record called “Ready,” which saw the Brooklyn spitter taking a subtle shot at Troy Ave over their past tiff about who was really independent & record sales. Joey rapped, “60k first week for the Badass/ 200k to this day I know you niggas mad/ With the 80/20 split my nigga do the math/ My nigga Kirk just outsold Troy Ave.”
