Two lesser-known members of Hit-Boy's HS87 crew have linked up for a new collab titled "Ride or Die." Preston Harris recently impressed with his 7-track Love Crazy EP, and you may remember Turtle No Joke from his December record with Hit-Boy, "Cold Winter." The far-reaching talent of the HS87 label is becoming increasingly clear, as Turtle's cold raps mix perfectly with Harris' intoxicating R&B flourishes on "Ride or Die."
"Ride or Die" is filled with genuine romance, but Turtle brings a tough sound that makes the record live up to its title. Turtle is also a member of Audio Push's B.O.W. crew and label, and "Ride or Die" is produced in-house by S. Dot.
B.O.W. will be releasing Turtle's next project, Long Story Short, and by the sounds of "Ride or Die" and "Cold Winter," it's not to be missed.
