At the beginning of the month, Lil Uzi Vert dropped off a radio rip of his latest single, "Money Longer," produced by Don Cannon and Maaly Raw. The radio quality notwithstanding, it was immediately clear this was the biggest record of young Uzi's career, and the high-fashion Philly trapper has now given fans the CDQ, which comes with some fantastic new single artwork.
The anthemic production has club-tearing potential, and Uzi rides it out effortlessly, letting his his raps slide along naturally with each build and drop, never shaken off course. The women are getting badder, the cars faster, and the money longer. It'd be overwhelming for someone not quite as sharp on his toes as Uzi, who seems to get better and better when he's faced with especially intense and challenging productions.
Quotable Lyrics
It do not matter
Turned to a savage, pockets got fatter
She call me daddy
Smokin' that gas, gone off that zanny
