Listen to another new track from Shawn Harris: "Mob Ties."

We're doing our best to keep up with Shawn Harris (FKA Nikko Lafré) tonight, as the Minneapolis rapper has dropped off four tracks off his upcoming LAFRÉ project. Well, they're demo tracks, though they sound official enough to us.

We've already highlighted two LAFRÉ records: the ultra cool, late-night banger "Somewhere in LA" as well as the anthemic "Year of LAFRÉ." Here's the third of tonight's four gems: "Mob Ties," which is the type of gangsta rap Lafré fans will be well familiar with.

"Mob Ties" boasts relatively low-key trap production, which is suitable considering the amount of adrenaline Harris brings with his raps.

And for the final track of the evening, here's Lafré veering (with a good bit of swerve) into slow-jam mode: "Late Nights in Texas."

Which of Harris' new tracks have impressed you the most?

Quotable Lyrics

And lord forbid that we go down I won't say no names
'Cuz I accept the consequences of the dope game
That's why I'm still in it, I'm still wit' it
Got the 30 with the steel in it
