The first thing you'll probably notice about Sophie Beem's new record "I Got It," is the interpolation of Young MC's "Bust A Move," which serves as the hook of the song. From there, things get into familiar RnBass territory, with a glossy bassline leading the way as Sophie's vocals come confident and direct. Eventually, Fetty Wap's "Yeeeah nany!" ad-lib enters, and her briefly takes over the track.
Beem was signed to Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment last year, so she's definitely got a good team behind her, and they'll likely be pushing this as her radio single. Does it have hit potential?
Quotable Lyrics:
I want you to feel me
How I feel you
I see you, you let me loose
Do it all for you
Spend it all on you, girl
I Got It
