The Weeknd partners with Puma as the new global ambassador.

Move over Rihanna & Kyle Jenner, The Weeknd is the newest member of team Puma. On Thursday, the Toronto crooner announced that he’s been named the Global Brand Ambassador and creative collaborator for the brand.

With that said, The Weeknd will have his own collection of sneakers and apparel coming out in 2017, some of which could’ve be seen in the video for “Starboy.” "His laidback, streetwise style and swagger make him the right fit to headline PUMA’s latest Sportstyle campaign, ‘Run The Streets’ which launches in November," the company wrote in a press release.
