Danish producer Slowolf has always experimented with hip hop, and it sounds like his relationship with rap will continue on his upcoming White Feathers EP. He linked up with the versatile rapper Pell for “The Ring,” a smart choice considering Pell’s versatility on the mic and his own interest in musical experimentation.
The duo works well together, with Pell doing double duty as a singer and rapping verses. The production on point as well; Slowolf masterfully blends piano, snapping snares, horn and vocal samples and more into wonderful backdrop for Pell.
The White Feathers EP drops on April 1. Check out the official video down bottom, it's a fun watch.
Quotable Lyrics
Hard times got you thinking you should smoke more
you kiss butts til your throat's sore
I was just assuming I'm the type that you would go for
now my feelings tied up because we both scored
