Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of the murder of Bay Area rap legend The Jacka. Oakland rapper Philthy Rich immortalized The Jacka by getting "King Jack" inked on his back; now, he invites Paul Wall and Freeway to help him commemorate The Jacka's passing with his new single, "King Jack."
Produced by AK47, "King Jack" will appear on Rich's fifth studio album Real N*ggas Back In $tyle, due out February 26th.
"He had a great heart," said Freeway of Jacka. "I seen him give a person the shirt off his back with my own eyes. He really cared about all his friends he was striving to be a good Muslim and he was a great rapper! He will truly be missed."
Quotable Lyrics
One of the realest niggas that I ever met
And one of the only rappers that I respect
'King Jack' tatted on my back
Right besides Tupac and the Mac
