NYC's own Diggin' in the Crates crew is finally getting back together. With a DITC compilation album slated to drop this spring, the crew got the ball rolling last week with "Diggin' Numbers." Last night, they returned with "Gotta Be Classic," featuring a pair of DITC OGs, AG and OC.
Showbiz employs a slick boom bap groove (snare rudiments on fleek) and a smoky guitar line that is the very essence of blunt smoke. The Diggin' in the Crates crew sets a high standard for itself, and that's what "Gotta Be Classic" is all about.
