Here's a second record from Hodgy Beats' latest swell.

In addition to dropping a freestyle over Ahmad's "Back in the Day" titled "Makaveli," Hodgy Beats tackles another '90s beat, this time taking on something a bit more well-known, Jay Z's 1997-released "Where I'm From," which appeared on In My Lifetime, Vol. 1.

"DirtyJerz" has Hodgy proclaiming his street cred in case there were any doubters, in addition to stating that "rapping is easier than breathing." Can you tell? He's dropped three records each week for the past two weeks in a row-- he's definitely making it look easy. Listen to all his recent releases here.

We'll keep you posted if Hodgy gives us any more details as to what he's working on.

Quotable Lyrics

Knock on wood receive a splinter ay
Colder than winter days
Stay out of the hood, that's what the winners say
You're stuck in a daze, I just entered maze
