Wavey Aint It

This week, we saw a great debate over the word "Wavy" (or in this case, Waves) and whether or not it should always directly relate to Max B, who popularized the term within rap. Wiz Khalifa's argument was that the work should never be attributed to anything that doesn't nod towards Max's style. By this definition, Derick's "Wavey Ain't It" doesn't entirely pass the authenticity test, but production-wise, we could seen Max Biggavelli getting down with this. As for Derick, he rides his own wave throughout, which is all you can really ask for.
