With his 2014 mixtape Peacemaker, Los Angeles producer Salva proved that his high-hat game is second-to-none. In particular, the phenomenal "Old English" feat Young Thug, Freddie Gibbs, & A$AP Ferg. The tape introduced San Antonio emcee Paul Fisher, who had recently signed to Salva's Peacemaker label.
Today, Fisher and Salva return with "Marvin" an ode to Marvin Gaye that features a prominent sample of Gaye's classic tune "Distant Lover." "Marvin" channels the spirit of Mick Boogie's Brooklyn Soul Marvin Gaye/Jay Z mashup mixtape, arguably the best mashup tape of all-time.
