When Smoke DZA asks “Where It’s At?” you can probably guess what he’s talking about. Still, Smoke doesn’t really leave a lot to our imagination in his new track whose first words are “Where the weed at?” Fresh off of releasing “Absolutely Perfect” yesterday, this track features a much more traditional sound than the sparse Wale collaboration.
It’s all boom-bap and the Harlem emcee flowing over an old school sample that could be from an old Warner Bros cartoon. He raps about weed, the money he’s made from weed, and the fun shit he gets to do while high. Sounds like a pretty good life.
Quotable Lyrics
Took the brass ring
that ain't a bad thing
I'm tapped in
nigga tripled up since last spring
I give assignments, no consignment
niggas love to get lost boy, freaky tie in
