Azealia Banks is in the news again for her Twitter activities, but this time there’s no beef involved, and a collaboration is actually in the works. After engaging on Twitter with Lady Gaga and hinting to fans at the possibility of the two working together, the young female rapper has confirmed that a collabo has been recorded with her and Gaga.
In an interview with Capital FM, the Harlem rapper said that she has recorded a track with the pop icon, but is not sure where the record will pop up, “yeah, I worked on a song for her,” Banks said, but added she is unsure if it will appear on Gaga’s forthcoming ARTPOP LP, “I don’t know if it will make her record. I hope it will make her record, but we’ll wait and see.”
The two have a past of working in each other’s genre. Earlier this summer, Lady Gaga made waves by being linked to rising hip hop star Kendrick Lamar, on a collabo track “PARTYNAUSEOUS”. Azealia has even recorded for a pop track before having worked with Lana Del Rey on her “Blue Jeans” remix.
