Yesterday, Waka Flocka told his fans he plans to release a mixtape this month with frequent collaborator Southside of 808 Mafia. Southside produced much of Waka's latest mixtape, Flockaveli 1.5, so it was assumed he'd be handling the entire production side of the upcoming project. However, Flocka has just dropped a new track, "New Year," and it doesn't have Southside on the beat (produced by Luke, instead), but it does feature a crazy opening verse from Young Sizzle, which is Southside's rapping alias.
Sizzle has been testing out his rap skills for a while now, and his new Free Agent 3 mixtape was definitely his most recognized project yet. It's still unclear if their collab tape will feature all tracks with both Waka and Sizzle rapping, but after hearing "New Year," that definitely wouldn't be a bad thing.
Free Agent 3 also happened to feature Waka on a track, "Elm Street." Both bangers.
