We first heard Zeus the Plug last month with "Do It For Me," and his new record, "Twerk Contest," once again proves that he's unique among other young Chi-Town rappers. He's perhaps influenced by aggressive drill music in the tone of his raps, but his sound is much more catered toward the club.
On "Twerk Contest," he goes in over a bouncy, bass-heavy production from Versace Warlord. The beat, along with Zeus's rhythmic, concise rapping makes for an anthem that should achieve what it set out to do: get them cakes bouncing.
"Twerk Contest" comes with a new video that definitely lives up to the song's title.
