Yo Gotti's "Down in the DM," the single taken from his September mixtape The Return, has proven to be one of his biggest hits ever. Surprisingly, the track doesn't make any kingpin boasts and instead deals with the relatively innocuous subject about plotting mischief by way of Instagram DMs. The song has also been one of the more popular choices for remixes and freestyles, as Rick Ross and Curren$y have all both recently rapped over the Ben Billions production. The latest remix comes from Waka Flocka, arriving a few weeks after he dropped off Flockaveli 1.5.
If Yo Gotti is ever able to win over Angela Simmons with the charm of his DMs, he'll likely wade on her hand and foot like a proper southern gentleman. Don't expect the ladies popping up in Waka's inbox to be treated as such. "She an Instagram hoe, so that's exactly how I treat her," he raps. Mind you, even the hardest of savages couldn't resist catching feelings for Ms. Simmons.
