Premiere! Stream Mari's ambitious "Symphony No. 40," composed during the month of Ramadan.

Mari is a Chicago-bred rapper and producer carving out a path for himself in New York City. He turned heads this summer when he released a velvety smooth track called "The Dilemma." Today, HNHH premieres his ambitious new self-produced forelease "Symphony No. 40."

"This past summer, I fasted during the month of Ramadan to stand in solidarity with the Muslim community," wrote Mari. "The experience allowed me to reconnect with God and my spiritual self."

Comprised of four movements spread out over seven minutes, "Symphony No. 40" is effectively a 4-track EP that combines Mari's jazz, gospel, and trap influences in order to express and document his personal Ramadan experience. The symphony has been completed and untouched since mid-July.

What do y'all think of "Symphony?" Rate, comment, and give Mari a follow on Twitter if you're feeling it.

Quotable Lyrics

Dolla bill, dolla dolla bill
If my niggas don't kill me then I pray a dolla will
It's get rich or die trying, better have my coffin built
'Cause if I'm broke at 33 I just might not decide to live
