Curren$y has already released two tracks -- "Top Down" & "International Set" -- since he released his album Canal St. Confidential earlier this month. This afternoon, Spitta comes through with yet another track, a freestyle over Nature and Nas' 2000 track "The Ultimate High."
Curren$y's freestyle harkens back to the days of The Firm, the '90s rap supergroup loosely comprised of Nas, Nature, Cormega, AZ, Foxy Brown, and Canibus. Curren$y would have fit right in... The Firm was all about them flutes.
Stream "The Ultimate High (Freestyle)" and ICYMI, watch Curren$y's interview with the incomparable Damon Campbell below.
Quotable Lyrics
I chose to show up on television with my eyes low
Cuz I figure fuck it homie they already know
Everywhere I go this is so
And I'm fresh like these Bapes was just baked, where's the stove
