The few times we've posted Rudimental, they've collaborated with rappers. The UK group are usually in a differnet lane, but they do branch out with some of our favorite rappers every now and then. Last year we saw them do remixes with the likes of Childish Gambino, Nas and Wale. Today they're giving their single "Lay It All On Me" the rapper remix treatment, adding Big Sean and Vic Mensa to the cut. Ed Sheeran is featured on the original, handling the hook.
The original song appears on Rudimental's We The Generation album, although the group adjusted the beat slightly to accommodate their rapping features. Compare it to the original below.
Quotable Lyrics
No need to emphasize that I'm all you need
No need to hit your ex unless it's minimize
See the bigger picture, if you're out I'm going to getcha
If you're here I'm going with ya
Honestly see I could go through anything
As long as I just go there with ya, straight up
