Mike Be is based out of Manhattan, NY. He describes himself as someone who can maneuver the territory between traditionalism and trap, but his new single is pretty far removed from either style. A fluid synth riff guides the way for Mike's stream-of-consciousness raps, bringing sense to the unwieldy instrumental with a straight-forward delivery. The track serves as the first single on Be's debut album The Crown, now available on iTunes.
"Two-Three" has placed Mike Be among this week's final four Heatseekers. If you like to have your song or video featured on the site, you can submit content to us here.
Quotable Lyrics:
I'm just chillin' in the cool breeze
Hop out the whip like 'who's he?'
Of the rap game, that's two-three
When you see him make moves, ooh-wee
And he never lose, only when he lose sleep
Now I'm kickin; through the door like Bruce Lee
