Gwop Gang hail from the DMV, but their new record (which is credited to 2Gz featuring MKE) bears a heavy Chicago influence. The syrupy auto-tuned melodies owe a good deal to Chief Keef and Lil Durk, but the Gwop Gang are natural enough songwriters to make the sound into something of their own. Also present is the ever-popular 808 Mafia siren, so it's nothing you haven't heard before, but the execution is pretty spot-on. We'll be continuing to watch their next moves.
