Jazz Cartier dropped a fresh release called "I Know" this morning, his third release in two weeks following "Stick and Move" & "Tales."
On "I Know," Jazz's producer Lantz takes the sort of jazzy chord triggers he put to use on "Rose Quartz/Like, Crazy" (off Jazz's acclaimed debut Marauding in Paradise) and lays them over a tasteful trap beat that features a phat kick and razor sharp hi hats. The song title is derived from the distant "I Know" ad lib that appears throughout. There's a good chance it's a stock sound, but it is deployed effectively amidst Lantz's rich sonic landscape. The end result is a track that simultaneously knocks and is rather chill.
Shoutout @deaddilly for this cover art.
Quotable Lyrics
I know you should give me a chance
You know I just want you to dance
I'm in and out of the city
just did a show out in France
Just give me a time and a place and I'm gone
I just want to know in advance
I heard you're a diva you live like a DJ
You're not one for taking demands
