After hitting us with the track “Trouble In The Neighborhood” a couple weeks back, Detroit artist Boldy James decides to return to the scene today with The Bully Boys for a new song called “Roses,” from the Bully Boys’ upcoming “untitled” project that’s dropping in early 2016.
Take a listen to The Mercer Boys-produced track and let us know what you think. And while you wait for updates on the upcoming project, be sure to revisit their debut single “Golden Empire” in the meantime.
“Roses” available now on iTunes.
Quotable Lyrics:
Niggas aint eaten, stay schemin’ got my sippin’ slow
When they was leanin’, I was day dreamin’ about a brick of blow
Ten below, runnin’ through them slabs in Cicero
Aunt used to let us have whatever fell on the kitchen floor
