Skooly is low-key one of the most influential figures in Atlanta rap. His work with Rich Kidz (and by extension, London On Da Track) has informed Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan's Rich Gang mixtape and beyond. You still hear his voice in every London drop, but he's also making moves as a solo artist, and his new record Short Dawg finds him further developing his signature vocal style.
No word on whether or not "Fake Gold" will appear on an upcoming project, but it's certainly a promise that Skooly is still working hard. Let us know what you think of the record in the comments.
Quotable Lyrics:
Tell them niggas don't bother me
Tell them bitches don't bother me
Probably ain't goin' far as me
Know they ain't stoppin' me
