This may be the first time you’re hearing the name Jevon Doe, but it probably won’t be the last. Making his debut on HNHH this evening, here goes Jevon’s new single “Had To Do It.”

Showcasing his versatility & slick wordplay, Jevon reflects on the hustle & grind he “had to do” in order to stay safe & well in the streets while growing up. “Every one of my songs is about the things that I had to overcome, the struggles that are so hard to get past. But if you focus on yourself, you really can get through those dark times,” Doe says.

Quotable Lyrics:

My mama put my down since then nigga
Dropped my first song when I was fifteen
I knew that I would blow even back then nigga
