Baauer is perhaps best known in the hip hop universe as the originator of the "Harlem Shake" meme and his "Songs From Scratch" collaboration with Fetty Wap and Dubble Dutch. Today he stopped by Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show to premiere a powerful track called "GoGo!" that combines elements of trap and face-melting house.
"This is just the first track out of many tracks that I’ve been working on," Baauer told Lowe. "I’ve been locked in the studio, jamming away on music." When Lowe asked him to describe "GoGo!" in three words, he responded, "raw, loud, and massive."
