We loved MØ's vocals on the pop-EDM-banger "Lean On" from Major Lazer and DJ Snake, at least when it first dropped, it has since become incessantly overplayed. Nonetheless the Denmark-bred singer returns with Diplo once more, this time for a solo single called "Kamikaze," which, this time, is more pop than banger (and more pop than EDM). MØ's sugar-coated voice play atop string-heavy production, and although (IRL) 'kamikaze' is a rather violent affair, MØ's record is anything but that, turning it to a fun time.
The single was debuted by Annie Mac on BBC 1, and following the premiere, the two chopped it up about the singer's work with Major Lazer and Diplo in particular, (and more importantly, how to properly pronounce her name).
MØ says, "I love working with Diplo. It’s always such a fun and open-minded creative process. It’s about making memorable songs but, more than that, it’s about making pop music that wants to push boundaries."

You say you want
Someone to be wasting your time
Well, I'm your partner in crime boy
You should fly away with me
