GoldLink has blessed us with a new single, "Spectrum," his first since "Movin' On," which was released at the end of August. With the new single comes the announcement of GoldLink's imminent debut album, And After That, We Didn't Talk.
"Spectrum" is yet another beauty from the quality-over-quantity DMV rapper. The track begins with a Missy Elliott sample, and GoldLink keeps things bumping all the way through with quick and effortless raps. GoldLink's music is described as "future bounce," and the name should make more sense after hearing "Spectrum." GoldLink busts out thought-provoking lyrics while always keeping up with the dancefloor-oriented sound.
And After That, We Didn't Talk will be released on November 13 via Soulection. It shouldn't disappoint.
Quotable Lyrics
Lookin' back over my life and what a fuckin' trip
I could've loved this bitch and lost myself so I could please the bitch
And never please a bitch is what I learned
And then I went away from everything I started searching for, and well...
